Cape Cod is approximately 75 miles from two major airports, Logan Airport in Boston and Green Airport in Providence, Rhode Island. The main routes approaching Cape Cod are Route 3 from Boston and points North accessing the Sagamore Bridge and Route 25 from points South and West accessing the Bourne Bridge. Both bridges cross the Cape Cod Canal. From the Cape Cod Canal Bridges, it is approximately 70 miles/43 km to Provincetown at the tip of the Cape.

There are three main roads on Cape Cod when traveling West to East, Route 6A which is the northern most route follows Cape Cod Bay, Route 6 is the Mid-Cape Highway and Route 28 the most southerly route along Nantucket Sound.
